BBAC Celebrates Its New Branch in Kousba
BBAC celebrated the opening of its new branch in Kousba, district of Koura in the North Governorate in the presence of the Chairman and General Manager, Sheikh Ghassan Assaf as well as a host of customers and prominent political, social and media figures.
The new branch is strategically located on the Kousba main road. It is also equipped with the latest technological innovations that will offer both individuals and companies a modern banking experience catered by a highly professional team of bankers.
On the occasion, Sheikh Ghassan Assaf said: "We are proud to open our new branch in Kousba, the commercial center of the Koura district, where development, prosperity and progress have witnessed a major rise. We have dedicated the space, team and support needed to make this launch a speedy and successful one.” He also added that the Kousba branch will be of great importance not only through the services, modern technologies and high efficiency it will offer, but also through several sustainable development and social initiatives that will be implemented as well as the bank’s solid relationship with customers and residents of the region.

BBAC supports the ‘Founder’s Journey’ of the Arabnet Beirut for the 2nd consecutive year
BBAC sponsored, for the 2nd consecutive year, the ‘Founder’s Journey’ initiative of Arabnet Beirut; in its 10th edition, this event is considered as the most influential digital conference in the MENA region.
Dedicated to up and coming entrepreneurs, innovators and startups, the ‘Founders’ Journey’ initiative aims at helping them learn from successful entrepreneurs and industry professionals who shared their inspirational journey and tips on how to overcome obstacles and build a successful business model. Cognizant of the importance and impact of new technologies and digitalization, BBAC will continue to support digital innovation and entrepreneurship as key drivers for Lebanon’s future economic development.
The conference was held on June 12 & 13 at the seaside arena under the High Patronage of His Excellency The President of the Republic of Lebanon General Michel Aoun and in collaboration with the Lebanese Central Bank. It witnessed over 4,000 attendees, in addition to speakers, exhibitors, startups and investors who gathered to discuss the latest trends shaping the digital sector, as well as opportunities for companies working in that sector.

BBAC Champion of the BDL Banks Mini Football 2019 for the 3rd Consecutive Year
BBAC won, for the third consecutive year, the BDL Banks Mini Football Championship organized by Sports Mania and held under the patronage of Mr. Riad Salameh, Governor of Lebanon's Central Bank.
The crowds cheered as BBAC team won over Audi Bank team (4-1) in the final match that took place on Wednesday May 22nd, at Sports Avenue in Hazmieh.

BBAC Supports Al Jabal Marathon for the 9th Consecutive Year
For the ninth consecutive year, BBAC supports Al Jabal Marathon as main sponsor. The event held on May 05, 2019 was organized by the Lebanese Youth Association as well as the Martial Arts Academy. The marathon started from Bater and ended in Jezzine, under the slogan ‘Our Unity Protects Our Environment’. The sponsorship of BBAC for this marathon comes in the framework of supporting the youth as well as sporting events, as part of BBAC’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, not only in the Chouf area, but in all Lebanese regions.
"Starting from our slogan, ‘Your Caring Bank’, which also includes our support for the youth, we have decided to participate in this major sporting event, for the ninth year in a row, which is themed around the unity of the Lebanese in general and notably of the youth; with such unity ultimately preserving the environment. We at BBAC seek to support the aspirations of our youth in all types of events, for the biggest investment we can ever make is in the generations of the future”, commented Mr. Nadim Hamadeh, Assistant General Manager for Banking at BBAC.
This marathon witnessed a great participation by different age groups who came from all over Lebanon to gather and participate in an exciting and positive ambiance. The race ended with a big ceremony, where the winners were awarded prizes at the finish line, in the presence of a number of personalities and mayors, as well as BBAC managers and employees who participated in the marathon.

BBAC Chairman’s opinion piece on Lebanon’s banking sector and financial situation
In light of the recent government formation in Lebanon and amidst economically hardened circumstances, the banking sector has proven time and time again that it can sail steadily in the stormiest of weathers.

BBAC opens its 41st branch in Kousba
BBAC has opened its new branch in the Northern city of Kousba, district of Koura.
The branch opening comes in line with the bank’s expansion strategy to grow its geographic footprint in strategic areas in Lebanon, especially in the North Area, and serve its clients wherever they are, as well as attract new clients with its quality products and services.
In addition to being situated in a strategic location, the new Kousba branch enjoys a modern design reflecting the new corporate identity recently launched by BBAC.
