BBAC Supports the “Authentic Shouf” Campaign to Boost the Economy and Toursim

Within its commitment to strengthen the Lebanese economy, BBAC participated in the launch of the "Authentic Shouf" campaign. The campaign, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Economy and Trade, is a joint initiative by the Beiteddine Art Festival Committee, the Association of Al Shouf Cedar Nature Reserve, the Shouf Traders Association and the Lebanese Franchise Association.

Commenting on the campaign, Sheikh Ghassan Assaf, Chairman and General Manager of BBAC said, "our support for the campaign 'Authentic Shouf' comes from our social and economic commitments and responsibilities to embrace local projects and initiatives that target the diverse facets of society in order to achieve a sustainable rate of growth in the country. This step also enhances our role as a major contributor to the growth of the Shouf; a region that has always been known for its rich historic and cultural heritage and the authenticity of its people. We pledge our continuous support to the Shouf and all the Lebanese regions in belief that BBAC is an indivisible part of the local society, and that actions always speak louder than words as we continue to be  "Your Caring Bank.""

The campaign aims to promote the Shouf region as a tourist destination in a youthful and vibrant manner, and increase environmental-friendly investment opportunities and the development of the region in general, in addition to the reinforcement of investor confidence by unveiling the region’s authentic side and shedding the light on its many environmental, historical and cultural assets.
