For the second year in a row, BBAC proudly sponsored the Army Commander Cup Race event, which took place in the village of Baadran in Mount Lebanon on Sunday, June 24, 2013.

In glorious sunshine, hundreds of male and female athletes representing the Lebanese Armed Forces, Internal Security Forces, different sports clubs and schools, along with runners of all ages, participated in the 10 km race setting off from ‘Baadaran Military Airport’ to Khraibe village and back to Baadaran. 

BBAC is thrilled to have been able to support this event in belief that sport has the unique power to bridge communities, unite people from all walks of life and drive positive social change. The event certainly also is an opportunity for the Lebanese people to come together in the spirit of solidarity and thank the military members for their patriotic service and the sacrifices they make every day in support of the country.
