As 2013 comes to a close, BBAC held its annual end-of-the-year event to honor and thank its employees at the Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand Hotel. Present at the event were Chairman and General Manager Sheikh Ghassan Assaf, board members, senior managers, representatives from BBAC affiliates, and more than 800 of the bank’s staff members.

In a heartwarming speech, Sheikh Ghassan Assaf welcomed the attendees and praised the tremendous efforts, contributions, and unwavering commitment of the BBAC staff, which has achieved remarkable results despite this year’s hardships. He also highlighted BBAC’s growth and development, proven through its positive financial results in 2013. Sheikh Assaf announced that the bank’s main objectives for the upcoming year would be to further develop and expand in Lebanon and abroad, launch the newest services, develop its mobile banking and continue to invest in the latest technologies as they have before.

He concluded by saying: "I am proud to stand here today and speak of our past accomplishments as well as our hopes for the future of this institution. I am confident that, no matter how great the odds, we are prepared to deal with any obstacle facing us next year as one team, as one family. So bring on 2014, we at BBAC are prepared for success.”

Following Sheikh Assaf’s speech, a special montage was screened highlighting the projects implemented by BBAC and Live Lebanon as well as other activities organized by the bank in its commitment to corporate social responsibility, demonstrating the real meaning behind BBAC’s slogan “ Your Caring Bank”.
