BBAC has recently completed the renovation of the 11-meters high monument located at Aley's entrance which had been worn out over the years of abandon.The renovation process involved the refurbishment, the rehabilitation and the redesigning works that transformed the monument into an artistic sculpture.
The new design was carried out by the internationally renowned Lebanese artist Lena Kelekian, the winner of the 2008 Beijing Olympics gold medal and the Torch for the Middle East, in the Olympic Fine Arts. The execution on site was under the supervision of the well known architect Hagop Sulahian, for his restoration and city embellishment works.
