BBAC Continues to Support Al Jabal Marathon under the Slogan “We Run to Live”

BBAC marked its 5th year as the principal supporter of the Al-Jabal Marathon, which took place in the Chouf district, starting in the village of Baakline and ending in Deir Al-Qamar. The marathon held under the slogan “We Run to Live” and in the presence of BBAC employees gathered thousands of people from various regions of Lebanon. BBAC’s support to the Al-Jabal Marathon is part of its long-term commitment to support sports activities in Lebanon.

Commenting on this event, Mr. Tarek Bilal, Head of BBAC Marketing Department, said: “BBAC prides itself in being the main supporter of the race. Our support to such events reflects our commitment to help the people from the Chouf and other Lebanese regions to build a better society, and thus aims at moving the country forward, towards positive change. We assure that we, at BBAC, will keep supporting the Al-Jabal Marathon and the communities around it as it stems from our slogan: Your Caring Bank.”

The race ended with an award ceremony in the presence of key social figures, municipality leaders, heads of the schools and universities involved, and of course, BBAC representatives.

BBAC Supports LeMSIC Fundraising Gala Dinner

BBAC is pleased to announce its support as the main sponsor for the 2015 fundraising gala dinner organized by the Lebanese Medical Students' International Committee (LeMSIC), a non-political, non-profit student-run organization that represents medical students in Lebanon.

This year's gala dinner gathered over 300 physicians, residents, fellows, medical and non-medical students, from different universities and medical institutions in Lebanon, to celebrate LeMSIC’s successful achievements throughout the years and its involvement within medical schools all over the country. The event witnessed the distribution of awards and grants to physicians and students whose motivation, help and work stood out in the last few years.

The annual gala dinner is a major fundraising event that helps in supporting the exchange program that LeMSIC organizes; This program offers LeMSIC members the chance to undergo clinical or research electives in foreign countries.

LeMSIC aims, through different events and activities, at introducing medical students to global health issues, humanitarian ideals and medical ethics.  Furthermore, it aspires to empower medical students,  motivates them to use their knowledge and capacity for the benefit of society through providing them with the support to do so.

BBAC, Your Caring Bank, and LeMSIC share a common goal, namely the creation of a more prosperous and enriched Lebanon, which cares for its own communities.
