- What are the features of Mobile Payment?
Mobile Payment with CMO enables you to make instant payments virtually anytime, using your own mobile by simply linking your BBAC current account to your mobile number.
With this service, you can use your mobile to perform the following:
- Person-to-Merchant (P2M) Payments: Pay in advance for delivery orders from a variety of merchants who accept CMO payments
- Person-to-Person (P2P) Payments: Transfer money to other CMO users
- Cardless ATM Withdrawals: Withdraw cash at any CMO participating ATM without the need for a physical card
- ATM Locator: Locate a CMO participating ATM that supports cardless transactions near you or at a specific location
Any BBAC client with a smartphone, a BBAC current account and the CMO application can enjoy using Mobile Payment.
That’s not all! As a CMO user, you can also pay with MasterCard ‘Paypass’ contactless card for all your small purchases from a variety of merchants that accept CMO payments in Lebanon and worldwide. Simply stick the contactless card to the back of your mobile and pay with a simple tap of your phone.
- How secure is Mobile Payment?
BBAC has taken every precaution necessary to ensure a climate of trust and to protect the confidentiality and the security of your financial and payment information, allowing you to conduct your CMO mobile payments with confidence.
You will also be provided with a password which, along with your mobile number, enables you to securely access the CMO application.
As an added security measure, each and every CMO transaction requires a One-Time-Password (OTP) to be completed successfully. Once requested, the OTP will immediately be sent to your mobile via SMS to authenticate and proceed with the transaction.
No matter what CMO transaction you make, you will get an SMS notification on the spot once the payment is processed.
You can view your most recent transactions on the CMO application. Alternately, you can also view the details of all your CMO transactions in your statement of account or online.

You can apply for Mobile Payment by visiting any of the BBAC branches, where the customer service representatives are ready to provide assistance.
After BBAC has registered you for Mobile Payment, all you need to do is visit your App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android), search for "CMO" and download the application. Once downloaded, follow a few simple steps to activate the application, and you are ready to start making payments.
