BBAC plastic cards
MAPFRE Asistencia SA Travel Plan
This plan covers the BBAC plastic cardholders whilst traveling, in case their card is valid and in case they have purchased by use of their card:
- Their travel ticket by air, sea or land
- Their hired car
The teritorial limit is Worldwide excluding Lebanon or the country of residence
MAPFRE Asistencia SA Travel Plan insures BBAC plastic cardholders plus cardholders' spouse up to 75 years old, and dependent children under 25 years old, subject traveling together.
Main covers
Section I:
- Travel information service.
- Referral to medical correspondents abroad.
- Long distance medical advice.
- Evacuation &/or Medical Repartition up to USD 50,000.
Coverage shall additionally indemnify the services of MAPFRE Asistencia SA in the event of:
. The visit of a family member in the event of hospitalization of more than 5 days or if the victim
is a child of under 15 years of age. Indemnity USD 80/day during a maximum of 10 days.
. Repartition of mortals; remains.
. Return of dependent children: If dependent children are left unattended as a result of a
member's accident or illness, MAPFRE Asistencia SA will arrange their return to Lebanon.
- Dispatch of a MAPFRE Asistencia SA patient under MAPFRE Asistencia SA supervision.
- Dispatch of a MAPFRE Asistencia SA specialist physician and medicine.
- Miscellaneous Non - Medical Assistance.
- Urgent Messages.
Section II:
- Loss or disappearance of baggage USD 800.
- Flight delay of eight hours or more USD 150.
- Delay of registered baggage of more than twelve hours USD 300.
- Medical expenses and hospitalization abroad due to accident or sickness up to USD 50,000
NB: In case of sickness, this cover is restricted to in - hospital fees only.
Section III:
- Personal accident worldwide 24/24h up to USD 100,000
- Personal Accident in Lebanon and abroad 24/24h for USD 20,000 offered by BBAC s.a.l
BBAC classic cardholders (BBAC classic card, BBAC euro card, BBAC CCCL card, BBAC Kunhadi card, BBAC diamond card) will benefit only from the coverage of section I.
BBAC gold cardholders will benefit from the coverage of sections I and II.
BBAC platinum cardholders will benefit from the coverage of all sections.
In case of Emergency:
Contact nearest MAPFRE Asistencia SA alarm center and then report to The Capital Insurance and Reinsurance Company s.a.l (member of BBAC Group) with the required documents.
